When Branches of Poplars and Willows Gently Drift With the Wind

因抗击新冠病毒疫情的要求,宅居家中已整整一月有余了,打破了个人赋闲居家的时间记录。望着窗外院中日渐由黄转绿的草坪,心中不由思念故乡的杨树和柳树。眼下农历二月二已过,民间有"二月二,龙抬头"的谚语,昭示春季来临,万物复苏,想必此时的杨柳已是春心萌动欲青青了。

To meet the requirement of fighting against the coronavirus epidemic,I have stayed at home for over a month,which breaks my record of time of resting at home.Watching the lawn gradually turn from yellow to green in the courtyard through my window,I cannot help missing the poplars and willows in my hometown.Now the 2nd day of the 2nd lunar month has already passed.As a folk saying said,"The dragon lifts its head on the 2nd day of the 2nd lunar month." it declares the arrival of the spring and the resuscitation of all living beings.The poplars and willows must be desirous to be green now.
