外商直接投资、产业结构调整与经济增长——基于新结构经济学的实证研究

Foreign Direct Investment,Industrial Structure Adjustment and Economic Growth——An Empirical Analysis based on the New Structural Economics

在新结构经济学理论基础上,选取2003—2017年我国部分省市面板数据,采用系统GMM法检验了外商直接投资对产业结构和经济增长的影响。结果显示外商直接投资对经济增长具有明显的技术溢出效应,且该效应主要从供给方面通过作用于短期竞争因素来影响经济增长,而从需求方面对长期结构调整影响较小;外商直接投资的技术溢出效应在中部地区作用效果最大,西部次之,东部最小。分析结果对于进一步优化利用外资结构、促进产业结构升级,进而实现经济高质量增长具有重要的政策启示。

Based on the theory of new structural economics,this paper made an empirical study of the impact of foreign direct investment on industrial structure and economic growth,using the model of panel data system GMM in the period of 2003—2017 based..The results show that the foreign direct investment has significant technology spillover effect,which has positive effect on economic growth mainly from the supply side through short-term competitive factors,but small effect on long-term structural adjustment.The technology spillover effect of foreign direct investment is the largest in the central region,a little smaller in the western region and the smallest in the eastern region.The conclusion of this paper has important policy implications for further optimizing the utilization of foreign capital structure,promoting the upgrading of industrial structure and achieving high-quality economic growth.
