唐代涌现出大量运用"捣衣"意象抒发情感的诗作。唐代捣衣诗主要抒发宫愁闺怨之绪、思乡恋亲之情、怀友悲己之慨。唐代捣衣诗的繁盛既与唐代社会现实密切相关,也与对前代捣衣诗的承续密不可分。
