This paper introduces the development,connotation and characteristics of MOOCs,probes into the significance of MOOCs to the teaching of local colleges and universities,and analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of local colleges and universities under the background of MOOCs.In view of the current predicament,this paper puts forward the teaching countermeasures for local colleges and universities to deal with the negative problems of MOOCs.
