许渊冲唐诗英译中的“创译”思想

诗歌是文学文本中一种特殊的形式,唐诗创作于中华诗歌史高度成熟的黄金时代,是中国古诗中的高峰。文章以许渊冲提出的“创译”思想为支撑,以许渊冲英译的唐诗为翻译语料,从词语、韵律和读者感受三方面,证实“创译”思想使许渊冲的英译唐诗更能贴切表达原作的情感,凸显出了“创译”思想在诗歌英译领域的意义及其发展前景。

Translation theory is summarized from translation practices,at the same time,it provides practices directions and predicts its further development.Poetry is a special form of literary texts,which takes the highest position in literature.Tang poetry is created at the highly mature golden age of Chinese poetry,and it stands at the peak of Chinese poetry.This paper takes Xu Yuanzhong’s transcreation theory as a support and his Tang poetry translation practices as studying materials.The paper analysis the materials from word-choosing,rhythms-remaining and readers-feeling,to show that this theory makes Xu’s translated visions closer to the emotions of the original,and to emphasize the significance of“transcreation”theory as well as its development prospects in poetry translation are highlighted.
