Cultural Experience Makes English More Exciting:A Study Based on the Cultural Experience Activities of Human and Nature in the Primary English Textbooks for Higher Grades Published by Yilin Press

文化背景知识对提高学生语言交际能力起到了重要作用。学习英语知识、掌握英语技能、提高英语运用能力与了解文化背景知识密切相关。本文研究了译林版小学英语高年级教材中有关人与自然的文化体验活动,从合理分配时间、丰富多种形式、关注活动效果几方面进行分析,力求使文化体验活动充分发挥作用,促进学生跨文化交际能力的发展。

Cultural background knowledge plays an important role in improving students’ language communication ability.Learning English knowledge, mastering English skills, and improving the ability to use English are closely related to understanding cultural background knowledge. This paper studies the cultural experience activities of human and nature in the primary English textbooks for higher grades published by Yilin Press, and analyzes from allocating time reasonably, enriching various forms,and paying attention to the effects of activities, striving to give full play to the role of cultural experience activities and promote the development of students’ cross-cultural communication skills.
