Reasearch on Xie Zhuang's Documents

谢庄为南朝谢氏家族主要成员,其存世实用类文书有27篇,公牍类16篇、书信类4篇、哀祭类7篇。谢庄存世文书各有特色,公牍类文书、书信类文书富有条理,平白晓畅,修辞较少,质朴务实,哀祭类文书脉络清晰,用典繁密,辞藻华丽,其诔文在结构上有一定的创新性。

Xiezhuang is the main member of Xie's family in the Southern Dynasty.He has 27 practical documents that survive.Among them,there are 16 official documents,4 letters and 7 mourning memorials.Xie Zhuang's surviving documents have their own characteristics.Official documents and letters are well organized,plain and clear,with less rhetoric,simplicity and pragmatism.Mourning documents are logic and there are many allusions and gorgeous rhetoric.To a certain extent,his leiwen is innovative in structure.
