With the rapid development of modern information technology,it is convenient for people to produce and live to a great extent.For the education industry,the application of information technology to teaching can create a better teaching atmosphere,stimulate students'interest in learning,and is conducive to the better growth and development of students.This paper analyzes the role of modern information technology in the teaching of applied undergraduate colleges and universities,and puts forward some corresponding suggestions on how to make better use of information technology to carry out education and teaching.
