As the main power equipment on board,marine electric generator diesel engine is very important for the safe navigation of ships.How to judge and prevent the faults effectively is the key to ensure the safe operation.Based on the working state of diesel engine,this paper discusses the method of non-disassembly inspection of marine generator diesel engine from the changes of exhaust smoke color,abnormal noise,exhaust gas temperature and cooling water temperature,so as to avoid unnecessary loss caused by blind disassembly inspection.
