The Nihilist Root of Vattimo’s Hermeneutics

瓦蒂莫通过对尼采虚无主义的解读,结合海德格尔的哲学思想,把虚无主义看成是一个解释的事件,为诠释学奠定了虚无主义的基础.无论尼采贬黜最高价值,还是海德格尔把存在降低为价值,都体现了虚无主义,即没有绝对的、客观的事实,因而也没有符合客观事实的真理,所以一切都是解释.瓦蒂莫提出虚无主义诠释学的实质,旨在把诠释学作为一个理论工具,突破现代性的束缚,走向后现代.

Through reading Nietzsche’s nihilism and combining Heidegger’s philosophy,Vattimo regards nihilism as an event of interpretation,which lays the foundation of nihilism on hermeneutics.Whether Nietzsche has degraded the highest value or Heidegger has reduced existence to value,they both have reflected nihilism,namely without absolute and objective fact,therefore there is no truth in line with the objective fact,so everything is interpretation.The reason that Vattimo has put forward the essence of nihilist hermeneutics,is to serve hermeneutics as a theoretical tool for breaking through the constraint of modernity and moving towards post-modernism.
