The“Modern History”School and the Turn of China Social and Economic History Research

民国时期,中国社会经济史研究步入专业化、科学化的轨式,实由中山大学“现代史学”派导其先路.该派从理论方法、叙述模式、研究领域等三个方面推动了社会经济史研究的深化:反思公式主义,提倡理论与事实的融合;由通论到专题,型塑社会经济史研究的专业化模式;开辟区域经济史研究,促进学科交叉.由此,中国社会经济史研究由草创期转入稳步发展期.“现代史学”派开创的社会经济史研究的专业化模式,不仅推动了中国经济史学科走向自觉和成熟,而且有利于整个历史学以及经济学学科的发展.

During the period of the Republic of China,the study of China’s social and economic history has stepped into a professional and scientific way,which is guided by the“Modern History”School.It has promoted the deepening of social and economic history research from three aspects:theoretical method,narrative model and research field.They reflect on the formalism and advocate integration of theory and historical materials,from general discussion to special topic,shaping the professional model of the social and economic history researching and it opens up the study of regional economic history and promotes interdisciplinary research.As a result,the study of social and economic history has changed from the initial stage to the steady development stage.
