This article introduced the basic overview and operation management of Hongkengzi Reservoir,analyzed some problems existing in the operation of the reservoir,and put forward measures,such as strengthening the establishment and improvement of the operation and management system, the safe operation monitoring of the reservoir,the maintenance and protection of the reservoir dam and so on,in order to provide references for further strengthening and paying attention to the safe operation management of the reservoir project.
