The different accounting methods for pollution source intensity,including total emission reduc tion,environmental impact assessment,sewage discharge permission and environmental statistics were com pared.Then it put forward suggestions that were aimed at making accounting methods for unified source in tensity and each caliber data matched,so as to make sewage discharge permission truly a core system for en vironmental management of fixed source of pollution.
