The main restricting factors of the development of network ideological and political platform involve teachers,students,the platforms and relevant systems.This paper tries to put forward solutions to provide reference for the next stage of platform construction by the analysis of the four factors restricting the development of the platform.User experience is improved by promoting the operation level,service functions are strengthened by enriching platform content and deep integration is realised by driving technology upgrading.The multi-faceted development is made with administrative support.An online ideological and political education platform is built and improved based on WeChat,Microblog,Apps and Websites.The“Internet Plus”and the resulting opportunities and challenges should be grasped to optimize the teaching mode of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,so that students are willing to accept and teachers are easy to master,and enhance the attractiveness and creativity of education and teaching.Relying on new media to carry out ideological and political education on the Internet has become a trend,which requires ideological and political educators to actively use the Internet to implement the basic task of building morality and cultivating people.
