In order to relieve the coal clogging and loosing of bunker of CFB boiler and save investment, a power plant in Harbin adopted new type screw coal feeder. Together with the optimization of design, the actual operation is good. The advantages of this new type screw coal feeder in small capacity power plant is introduced and suggestion for future new projects is given.
