媒介形态嬗变与我国“大一统”格局的形成

Transmutation of the Media Form and the Formation of“Great Unification”in Our Country

传播的历史是一切历史的基础,人类的一切活动及其文明成果的积累和传播,都有赖于一定的传播媒介,从历史的发展过程来看,传播媒介本身比传播的内容更重要,对人类和人类社会发展的影响更根本、更深远。文字书写媒介的发展促进了我国秦帝国的统一,而书写媒介发展和运用的不充分,又是其帝国败亡的重要原因之一。这是因为,信息交流与传播是一切权力存在的基础,信息交流与传播的范围和限度也就是权力和社会管理的阈限,要想突破社会的原有管理方式和统治范围,就必须变革原有的信息传播方式(实现媒介形态的嬗变),进而扩大信息传播范围,形成新的权力边界。

The history of communication is basis of all the other histories.The accumulation and propagation of all the human activities and their civilization depend on the media form.From the view of the historical development,media form is more important than the contents of communication,the effects of which to the human and the society are more fundamental and far-reaching.The development of the media form of writing promoted the unification of the Qin Empire,however,the insufficiency of the development and operating of the writing media is also one of the important reasons for the destruction of the empire.This is because the communication and propagation of the information is basis of the existence of all the power.The limitation of the information communication and propagation is the threshold of the power and the social administration.To break through the old management style and ruling area,the old media form has to be changed,and then enlarges the area of the information propagation and forms the new power boundary.
