地名研究与大运河文化带建设--“里下河”地名的个案考察

The Study of Place Names and the Construction of the Cultural Belt of the Grand Canal: A Case Study on the Name of "Li-xia River"

运河地名是运河文化的组成部分,记录着运河发展的历程,承载着厚重的运河文化。"里下河"因里河、下河而得名,既是河流名称,也是区域概念。清代"里下河"空间范围不断变大,由六县增加到十县,原因在于受灾面积不断扩大;1950年后"里下河"南北界限內缩,原因在于苏北灌溉总渠和新通扬运河的开挖。"里下河"地名与历史上的黄河、运河、淮河密切相关,包含着丰富的环境、社会及文化信息。今后要进一步挖掘丰富的地名文化资源,创建运河地名数据库,讲好运河地名故事,推进大运河文化带建设。

The place names of the Grand Canal are part of the canal culture,which record the development of the Grand Canal and carry the rich canal culture. " Li-xia River",derived from the Li River and Xia River,refers not only to a river but also to a whole region. In the Qing Dynasty,Li-xia River as a region expanded from six to ten counties with the constantly increased coverage of the disaster area. The name was closely related to the Yellow River,the Grand Canal and Huai River in history,and contained rich environmental,social and cultural information. In the future,we should further tap into the rich cultural resources of the Grand Canal-related place names,establish a database for them,tell meaningful stories thereof,and promote the construction of the cultural belt of the Grand Canal.
