ESP视角下高职院校英语教师向“双师型”教师转型探析 被引量:11

摘要 专门用途英语(ESP)引入高职院校既是社会的需求,也是高职学生的要求。推进ESP在高职院校中的运行,需要解决传统英语教师向“双师型”教师转型问题,但目前高职英语教师对ESP教学的理解欠缺,实行ESP教学的教师个人职业定位模糊,加上学科整合的师资培训机会很少,导致ESP教学模式和方法缺乏特色。促进ESP视角下的英语“双师型”教师的转型,需要引导英语教师提升业务素质,更新教学理念和优化教学手段,加强自主交流与学习,组织教师下企业实践,完善外部环境保障。 The introduction of English for Specific Purposes(ESP)into higher vocational colleges is the requirement from both higher vocational college students and social need.In order to promote the operation of ESP in higher vocational colleges,it is necessary to solve the problem of traditional English teachers’transition to“dual-qualification”teachers.However,the present situation which leads to the deficiency of characteristics of ESP teaching models and methods is that English teachers in higher vocational colleges is lack of the understanding of ESP teaching,and those who implement ESP teaching have vague personal occupational orientation,additionally,there are few opportunities for teacher training in subject integration.In order to promote the transformation of traditional English teachers to be“dual-qualification”English teachers from the perspective of ESP,it is necessary to guide the English teachers to improve their professional qualification,update teaching concepts,optimize teaching methods,strengthen the autonomous learning,organize teachers to practice in enterprise,and improve external environmental supplies.
