当代中国不同职业人群礼貌观差异调查与分析——以致谢言语行为为例

A Study of Pragmatic Variations in Linguistic Politeness among Chinese of Different Occupations:A Case Study of Thanking Act

本研究从变异语用学视角出发,通过问卷调查考察了不同职业汉语本族语者对致谢必要性和郑重程度的认知特征,以及权势关系、社会距离和恩惠程度三个微观社会因素对致谢言语行为的影响。研究发现,不同职业人群对致谢必要性和郑重程度的认知既有共性,也存在差异;同时,不同职业人群的致谢言语行为会受到权势关系、社会距离和恩惠程度的交互影响。本研究的结果对理解当代中国不同职业人群的礼貌言语行为选择具有现实意义,对推进礼貌变异研究具有一定启示。

This study,adopting a variational pragmatic approach to politeness,uses questionnaire data to investigate the views of Chinese native speakers of different occupations on the necessity and seriousness of the speech act of thanking,and whether the micro socio-pragmatic factors like power relation,social distance and the size of favor affect the speech act of thanking.The findings are as follows.On the one hand,Chinese native speakers of different occupations show both similarities and differences concerning their views on the necessity and seriousness of thanking.On the other hand,their performances of thanking are dynamically influenced by the three micro socio-pragmatic factors under examination.This study can contribute to the understanding of the politeness behavior of Chinese people of different occupations,and the promotion of variational politeness research.
