【Objective】To test the levels of vitamin A and E in serum of pregnant women in the second and third trimester of pregnancy and study the relevance between the levels of vitamin A and E in serum and the incidence of preeclampsia.【Methods】Totally 142 cases of preeclampsia were collected from pregnant women who got prenatal care and had delivery at the Obstetrics Department,Chaozhou People′s Hospital between August,2016 and September,2019,and 1200 cases of normal pregnancy were randomly selected.Data including levels of vitamin A and E in the second and third trimester of pregnancy, pregestational BMI,age,sd-LDL were collected for the analysis of their relevance with preeclampsia.【Results】The differences in the levels of vitamin A and E in the second and third trimester of pregnancy between the preeclampsia group and the control group of normal pregnancy were not statistically significant(P>0.05).According to Logistic regression analysis, there were no correlations between the levels of vitamin A and E in the second and third trimester of pregnancy and preeclampsia while there was an association between preeclampsia and pregestational BMI,age, and sd-LDL.【Conclusion】The levels of vitamin A and E in serum of pregnant women have no significant correlation with the incidence of preeclampsia, while pregestational BMI,age, and sd-LDL are independent risk factors for preeclampsia.
