On Tao Yuanming's Acceptance of Sima Qian's Values

陶渊明对司马迁价值观的接受主要表现在三个方面:一是建立功名的用世之心与渴望和肯定功名的司马迁产生了价值观的共鸣;二是对真挚情谊的渴望与司马迁出于同一机杼;三是在固守节操的人格审美取向上与司马迁高度一致。接受和认同司马迁的价值观念是陶渊明构建自己精神世界的需要,这与陶渊明个体生命的体验以及《史记》在魏晋时期的传播有着十分密切的关系。

Tao Yuanming's acceptance of Sima Qian's values is mainly manifested in the following three aspects.Firstly,the establishment of the heart of using the world for fame resonates with Sima Qian who yearns for and affirms his fame.Secondly,the desire for sincere friendship is the same as Sima Qian's.Thirdly,Tao Yuanming is highly consistent with Sima Qian in the aesthetic orientation of sticking to the moral integrity.To receive and accept Sima Qian's values is the need of Tao Yuanming to construct his own spiritual world,which is closely related to the experience of Tao Yuanming's individual life and the spread of historical records in the Wei and Jin Dynasties.
