摘要
受社会母语经验影响,中国英语学习者的语言初始状态不尽相同。基于动态系统理论,历时考察学习者的语言初始状态不同对两组被试(普通话单言者和闽-普双言者)英语口语产出的复杂性、准确性和流利性的动态发展轨迹进行分析。研究发现:第一,普通话单言者在复杂性方面已经进入瓶颈期,而闽-普双言者的口语复杂性还存在一定的发展空间。第二,在口语词汇准确度方面,普通话单言者的发展路径持续上升且稳定。第三,两组被试英语二语口语流利度发展路径是不同的,闽-普双言者比普通话单言者更早进入语言学习中自我调控的状态。该研究对方言地区英语口语教学实践具有一定的指导意义。
Chinese L2 learners have various initial states affected by their social mother tongue experience.The present study aims to investigate how the L2 speaking develops over time under the influence of different initial states in groups of Mandarin speakers and Min-Mandarin speakers within the framework of Dynamic System Theory(DST).The result shows that firstly,complexity of the oral language of Mandarin speakers has entered into a bottleneck period though indeed increased over time,while Min-Mandarin speakers still possess development potential;secondly,accuracy of the oral language of Mandarin speakers keeps growing and steady;thirdly,fluency developmental paths of the oral language of two groups are different,Min-Mandarin speakers get into self-regulation state earlier.Research findings may have some implications for oral English teaching in dialect regions of China.
