习近平总书记在党的十九大报告中首次提出"培养担当民族复兴大任的时代新人"的重要论述。这一重要论述可从理论依据、价值向度、个性特征和实践路径这四重维度进行德育管窥。其理论来源于马克思列宁主义开创者关于人的全面发展理论和历代中共领导人关于培养社会主义新人的思想;其价值向度是培养拥护中国共产党的领导和社会主义制度、立志为中国特色社会主义事业奋斗终身、德智体美劳全面发展的社会主义建设者和接班人;其个性特征是鲜明的方向性、育人的全面性、高度的人民性和发展的渐进性;其实践路径是应强化教育领导、注重实践育人、坚持文化育人和建立协同机制。

Its personality is characterized by distinct direction, comprehensiveness of education, high degree of people and gradual development, and its practice path is to strengthen educational leadership, pay attention to practical education, adhere to cultural education and establish a cooperative mechanism.
