Study on the Carving Time of Nuan Xiang Lou from Wu Mei’s Shemota Library

《奢摩他室曲丛》本之《暖香楼》刻年有“1906年刊刻”和“1910年刊刻”二说,二者混淆现象十分普遍,而以“1910年刊刻”说为正。究其根由,误说乃因不明《奢摩他室曲丛》本为一函两册的特殊体例,致使《暖香楼》往往从合刻本中被独立出来研究,以部分考察整体。

There are two theories in the year of the inscription of Nuan Xiang Lou from Shemota Library:1906 and 1910.The confusion between them is very common.The theory of 1910 is the positive one.The cause of falsehood is that it’s not clear Shemota Library is a special style of one book containing two volumes.Therefore Nuan Xiang Lou is often studied in parts to find out the peneral picture.
