Critical Studies of the Textual Source of Qunshu Kaosuo Collected in Siku Quanshu

《四库全书》子部类书类所收《群书考索》212卷,《四库全书总目》题"内府藏本"。其所据版本未引起学者深究,览者多谓为明慎独斋本。经考索比勘其书元、明二本和四库本,可以发现《总目》所谓"内府藏本"当是元圆沙书院本。但四库本之面貌,并非简单承袭录用圆沙书院本,而是以圆沙书院本为工作底本,多加校理修改形成的。

Qunshu Kaosuo(《群书考索》), compiled by Zhang Ruyu(章如愚)in Sung Dynasty, which had been collected in Siku Quanshu(《四库全书》), was described as a printing edition from"Royal Book Collections"by Siku Quanshu Zongmu(《四库全书总目》). People know few about what this printing copy from"Royal Book Collections"exactly is. Comparing Siku Quanshu(《四库全书》)edition with a Yuan edition and a Ming edition, we come to know that the book from"Royal Book Collections"which mentioned by Siku Quanshu Zongmu(《四库全书总目》), should be one of the edition printed by Yuansha Shuyuan in Yuan Dynasty, not Shenduzhai printing in Ming Dynasty. And, the book in Siku Quanshu(《四库全书》)is a new collated and revised Qing official edition which was based on Yuansha Shuyuan printing.
