平田晃久的东京9h(nine hours)胶囊旅馆的爆红,引发了对黑川纪章的中银胶囊塔(1972)的回顾:同是胶囊,缘何一个流行一个没落?本文分析现代以来柯布西耶定义的"居住",在功能城市理论下降维成"住宿"的实质,道出胶囊公寓昙花一现的原因。而9h胶囊新旅馆则理清了居住与住宿的关系,对接了当代青年旅行者"生活在别处"的需求,在并不消弭、依然标榜极限住宿的同时,将城市引入,用"居住"照进"住宿",因此取得了成功。
The sensational popularity of Akihisa Hirata’s series of 9 h(nine hours) capsule hotel has ignited retrospection on Kurokawa Kisho’s Nakagin Capsule Tower back in 1972: both capsules, why one popular, one obscure ? This paper sets out to analyze the ’dwelling’ defined by Le Corbusier generation to its dimension-reduction into lodging, pointing out the obscurity’s cause. Then we come to see that the new series of 9 h(nine hours) capsule hotel tell the difference between, cater to the ’living elsewhere’ need of contemporary travelers, bring the city therein without annihilating its hallmark of minilodging, which means that it is the dwelling shining into lodging that leads to the success.
