This paper analyzes the factors that affect the cost control of port and waterway, combined with the current situation of port and waterway engineering cost, we put forward relevant suggestions for the cost management of port and waterway engineering: the first is to further improve the cost management system of port and waterway engineering;the second is to implement the management work in the cost preparation stage of port and waterway engineering;the third is to manage the cost design stage of port and waterway engineering;the fourth is to improve the comprehensive ability of engineering cost technicians;the fifth is to manage the cost implementation stage of port and waterway engineering.
