浅谈关联理论视角下翻译中的语境问题

On the Contextual Problems in Translation from the Perspective of Relevance Theory

关联理论认为交际是一个明示—推理过程,涉及人类的认知、大脑机能和语境效果,语境在我们理解话语和文本中起着非常重要的作用。一个成功的翻译文本需要译者根据动态语境进行推理,动态语境很大程度上取决于语言和环境的关联性。在翻译过程中,译者的主要任务是找出语言与语境之间的某种关联,尤其是最佳关联。根据最佳关联的原则,译者可以正确地理解原文,然后推理出最合适的语境,将其恰当地翻译成目标语。

Relevance Theory holds that communication is an explicit reasoning process,which involves human cognition,brain function and contextual effect.Context plays a very important role in the understanding of discourse and text.A successful translation text requires the translator to reason according to the context,which depends to a large extent on the relevance of language and environment.In the process of translation,the translator's main task is to find out a certain relationship between language and context,especially the best relevance.According to the principle of optimal relevance,the translator can correctly understand the original text,then infer the most suitable context and translate it into the target language properly.
