“双一流”背景下关于西部高校学科发展的思考——以西南石油大学机械工程学科为例

On Discipline Development of Western Universities under the Background of"Double First-class":Taking the Major of Mechanical Engineering of Southwest Petroleum University as an Example

“双一流”建设工程对于新入选的非原“985”“211”工程大学,特别是西部高校来说既是机遇也是挑战。如何根据自身条件制定出适合自身发展的道路是现阶段这类高校亟须解决的核心问题。以西南石油大学机械工程专业为例,简析西部新入选“双一流”高校在实现“一流”学科建设道路上的机遇和挑战,提出建设性的发展方案,为西南石油大学以及西部同类型高校的发展提供参考。

"Double First-class"construction project is both an opportunity and a challenge for the newly selected non-original"985"and"211"project universities,especially those in western China.How to carry out the path suitable for their own development according to their own conditions is the key problem that these colleges and universities need to solve at this stage.Taking the major of mechanical engineering of Southwest Petroleum University as an example,this paper briefly analyzes the opportunities and challenges on the way of realizing the"first-class"discipline construction in the newly selected Double First-class universities in the west,and puts forward constructive development plans,so as to provide reference for the development of Southwest Petroleum University and similar universities in the west.
