技术支配理论及其在信息系统研究中的应用与展望

Theory of Technology Dominance and Its Application andProspect in the Field of Information System Research

[目的/意义]为了帮助学界准确把握技术支配理论及其应用现状,将其更好地应用于研究信息系统中的技术依赖问题。[方法/过程]在简要介绍技术支配理论的起源及其发展之后,本文以应用技术支配理论的信息系统领域文献为基础,分析了其在信息系统研究中的应用现状。[结果/结论]技术支配理论在信息系统研究中的应用主要集中在3个方面:信息系统设计方面的技术依赖研究、信息系统使用过程中的技术依赖研究、用户长期使用信息技术的风险研究;同时发现当前文献中存在“研究所关注的信息系统功能相对单一”“研究领域局限在学习、工作方面的技术依赖”“缺乏纵向实证研究以分析信息技术长期使用的影响”等问题,因此未来可以研究诸如自动填充等其他功能设置对技术依赖的影响,并将研究领域从学习、工作拓展到生活、娱乐的技术依赖,同时可以收集面板数据研究信息技术对决策者、决策效果的动态影响。

[Purpose/Significance]The purpose of this study is to help academics accurately understand theory of technology dominance and its application status,in the meantime,to better apply this theory to the studies of technology dependence in information system.[Method/Process]After introducing the origin and development of this theory in brief,this paper analyzed the application status of this theory in information system research,based on the studies of this theory in the field of information system.[Result/Conclusion]The results showed that the application of this theory in information system research mainly included three aspects:technology dependence research in terms of information system design,technology dependence research in the process of using information system,studying the risk of long-term use of information technology.In addition,it is found that existing studies remained some limitations,such as“the kind of information system functions which most studies focus are relatively single”,“technology dependence studies are limited in the context of study and work”and“there is few longitudinal empirical research to analyze the influence of long-term use of information technology”.Therefore,future research can study the influence of other functions on technology dependence such as automatic filling,expand context of technology dependence studies from study and work to life and entertainment,and collect panel data to study the dynamic influence of information technology on decision maker and decision making.
