汉字是人类早期所创制的最古老的文字,以其独特的表意特征自立于世界语言文字之林,与当前绝大多数国家使用的表音为主的拼音文字截然不同。19世纪,语言学家绘制世界语言谱系树时,对语言文字优劣进行了探讨,认为汉语、汉字是最低级的语言文字。文章从黑格尔优劣观谈起,梳理汉字发展演变危机,并对今后汉字文明发展作出展望。

Chinese characters stand out in the world of language and characters with their unique ideographic features,which are quite different from the phonetic words used in most countries.In the 19^th century,linguists discussed the pros and cons of language and thought that Chinese and Chinese characters were the lowest level of language.This article talks about the development crisis of Chinese characters,and looks forward to the future development of Chinese characters.
