摘要
《人生海海》属于麦家在《刀尖》之后着力经营的“回去”系列,它和这个系列的短篇小说《一生世》《畜生》《日本佬》《汉泉耶稣》《双黄蛋》等构成一个关于童年和故乡记忆丰盈的文学世界。“上校”是带着隐疾和隐痛活到“我”的时代的英雄,“我”是“上校”故事的看者和听者,也从“上校”的人生中汲取成长的滋养。《人生海海》既是一部英雄成为英雄时代悲剧的历史,也是一部英雄末路沦落江湖被伤害的历史。但《人生海海》的主题远较此复杂,它关涉罪与罚,关涉罪与赎罪,当然也关涉麦家的个人成长史和精神史。
Life Is Like Ocean belongs to the“Going Back”series which was carefully created by Mai Jia after his work Point of the Sword.It forms a literary world with rich memories of childhood and hometown with other short stories in the same series,such as A Lifetime,Beast,The Jap,Hanquan Jesus and Double-Yolked Egg.The“colonel”is a hero who lives in the era of“I”with hidden disease and pain,and“I”is the viewer and listener of the“colonel’s”story,and also draws the nourishment of growth from“colonel’s”life.Life Is Like Ocean is not only a history of heroes becoming tragedies in the age of heroes,but also a history of heroes being harmed when they end up in the underworld.
