《综合英语》教学中开展课程思政的路径探索

Exploration on Ideological and Political Education in Teaching the Comprehensive English Course

为了深入贯彻习近平总书记在全国高校思想政治工作会议中的讲话精神,高校课堂教学中要挖掘思想政治教育的元素,培养青年人正确的价值观和思想观,构建有新时代中国特色社会主义大学课程体系。《综合英语》是英语专业低年级所占学分和课时最多的专业基础必修课,所以在此课程中开展思想政治教育的元素是英语专业开展思想政治教育工作的重要保障。本论文拟从在《综合英语》课程中融入思想政治教育的必要性、开展思想政治教育的有效路径等方面展开论述,在传授英语知识的过程中,培养青年学生的社会主义核心价值观。

To thoroughly implement the spirit of President Xi Jin ping’s speech at the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities, college and university teachers should be adept at finding in their course content factors relevant to ideological and political education, help students foster right values and views, thus constructing college curriculum with Chinese characteristics. The Comprehensive English Course, a basic course which accounts for the largest number of credits and class periods during the first two years of the English majors, plays a key role in integrating ideological and political education with language teaching. This essay aims to elaborate on the significance of integrating ideological and political education in the Comprehensive English teaching and the effective ways to do the job, thereby nurturing the core socialist values among young students while imparting them with English language knowledge.
