腹股沟疝一侧术后对侧发病的时间间隔分析

Analysis of the Time Interval Between the End of Unilateral Inguinal Hernia Surgery and the Onset of the Contralateral Inguinal Hernia

目的探讨腹股沟疝一侧术后对侧发生腹股沟疝的时间间隔,并对其进行分析。方法回顾医院2012年5月—2019年9月收治的腹股沟疝患者37例,所有患者对侧均有腹股沟疝手术史,将2次发病的时间间隔分为3组,T≤2年为短期组,2<T<10年为中期组,T≥10年为远期组,并对其加以分析。结果37例患者中,短期组11例,占比29.73%;中期组10例,占比27.03%;远期组16例,占比43.24%。结论临床就诊的单侧腹股沟疝患者中,很多患者对侧已有隐匿性腹股沟疝,提高对侧隐匿性腹股沟的诊断并手术时同时予以处理可能对患者有益。

Objective To investigate the time interval between the end of unilateral inguinal hernia surgery and the onset of the contralateral inguinal hernia.Methods We retrospectively reviewed 37 patients from May 2012 to September 2019 for inguinal hernia.All these patients had a history of inguinal hernia surgery on the contralateral side.The interval between the two onsets was divided into 3 groups:T≤2 years as the short-term group,2<T<10 years as the intermediate group,and T≥10 years as the long-term group.These patients were analyzed according to the groups.Results Among the 37 patients,11 were in the short-term group,accounting for 29.73%;10 in the intermediate group,accounting for 27.03%;and 16 in the long-term group,accounting for 43.24%.Conclusion Many of the patients for treating unilateral inguinal hernia in clinic could already have occult inguinal hernia on the contralateral side.It could be beneficial for the patients to improve the diagnosis of the contralateral inguinal hernia and treat it at the same time during surgery.
