电子商务发展拉大了地区间的贫富差距吗?——基于省际间发展差距数据的实证分析

Has the Development of E-commerce Widened the Gap Between Rich and Poor in Different Regions?--Empirical Analysis Based on the Data of Interprovincial Development Gap

本文选取电子商务发展对各地区间贫富差距的影响作为研究视角,从电子商务发展过程中的"实体经济""购物车""财税"三种效应构建了电子商务对地区间贫富差距影响的理论模型,并利用2017年我国31个地区省际间各项指标数据的相互差,采用普通OLS和分位数回归模型进行实证分析。研究发现,地区间电子商务水平发展的不均衡是导致地区间的贫富差距扩大的重要原因之一,即电子商务具有"财富聚集"效应。据此,我国在缩小地区间贫富差距的过程中应重点扶持经济落后地区的电子商务发展,电子商务水平发展较低的地区应注重摆脱其对实体经济的负面效应,以改善我国区域经济发展不平衡的现状。

This paper selects the impact of e-commerce development on the gap between rich and poor in different regions as a research perspective, establishes a theoretical model of the impact of e-commerce on the gap between rich and poor regions through the three effects of "real economy", "shopping cart" and "taxation " in the development of e-commerce. Common OLS and Quantile regression models are used for empirical analysis by using the inter-provincial indicators of the 31 regions in China in 2017. The study found that the imbalance in the development of e-commerce between regions is one of the important reasons for the widening gap between the rich and poor in the region, that is, e-commerce has the effect of "wealth gathering". Accordingly, in the process of narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor in the region, China should focus on supporting the development of e-commerce in economically backward regions. Regions with low e-commerce development should focus on getting rid of its negative effects on the real economy and improving the current imbalance of regional economic development in China.
