With the development of information technology and the deepening of higher education reform,the emergence of MOOC has changed the traditional music teaching concepts and teaching methods,endowed music teaching with new vitality,and greatly promoted the reform and innovation of music teaching in colleges and universities.This paper discusses the advantages and the specific application of MOOC in music teaching of colleges and universities,and deeply explores the application optimization methods of MOOC in music teaching of colleges and universities.
