In order to improve the teaching quality of mechanical engineering education,the author takes the discussions on the direction and principles of mechanical engineering education reform as the subject,starts with the necessity of mechanical engineering reform and makes a brief analysis of it.On this basis,the author probes into the direction and principles of mechanical engineering teaching reform comprehensively and deeply,hoping to play a positive role in promoting the development of mechanical engineering education in China.
