符号学“瑕疵文本”说:从《文心雕龙》的诠释讲起 被引量:5

摘要 赵毅衡指出,"符号学即意义学";如何寻求符号文本的确切意义,赵毅衡提出"伴随文本"理论。李卫华论文《从伴随文本释"文之为德也大矣"》据赵氏理论寻求一个文本的意义,但发现对此文本(出自《文心雕龙》的一个句子)的解释众说纷纭,未能确解。笔者认为"文之为德也大矣"和《文心雕龙》的《风骨》篇一样,都可称为瑕疵文本,即文本本身含义不清或互相矛盾。古今中西的"瑕疵文本"所在多有,本文略举数例说明之。本文以《文心雕龙》的《论说》篇和《指瑕》篇,作为瑕疵文本之所以存在的背景说明;换言之,此二篇可作为解释"瑕疵文本"说的伴随文本。 "Semiotics is the study of meaning ",according to Zhao Yiheng,who coined the term "co-text " for studies of the exact meaning of a semiotic text.In his paper "A Study of ‘Wen, or Pattern,is a Great Power Indeed’ from the Perspective of Co-text ",Li Weihua,sought out the meaning of the crucial first sentence of The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons on the basis of Zhao’s theory,but found a great number of different interpretations.The present author argues that this sentence,along with the same book’s famous chapter "Feng Gu"("The Wind and the Bone"),themselves constitute "flawed texts":texts with unclear or contradictory meanings.There are many " flawed texts " in ancient and modern works from both China and the West.This paper uses two chapters-"Lun Shuo "("The Treatise and Discussion") and"Zhi Xia "("Literary Flaws")-from The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons to explain the existence of " flawed text".These two chapters can be deemed co-texts in expounding the concept of " flawed text".
