贵州省黄家湾水利枢纽工程属于"三位一体"规划在格凸河干流兴建的大型水利枢纽,是解决紫云县用水的重大水资源配置工程。按照生态文明建设精神、生态水利发展理念、水利风景区建设理念、满足建设"多彩贵州公园省"要求,建设"生态黄家湾",对整个大坝枢纽区进行景观绿化、边坡生态修复,建鱼类增殖站和过鱼系统,对鱼类栖息地保护,加入雨污水收集处理与利用系统、绿色建筑系统等,做项目整体打造和提升策划。
