Taking the case of the hydrogen explosive incident which happened in Lucite Beaumont site in Texas,USA,the risk of hydrogen flash explosion in the normal sulphuric acid plant during daily operation and startup and shutdown are analyzed from theoretical research to historical hydrogen explosion case study,and taking the case of Lucite(China)plant as an example to specific risks study is carried out and the possible improvement action items is discussed,so as to provide guidance for the safety production of general sulphuric acid plants.
