Heading for a mission-oriented type,university ideological and political education is a historical inevitability for universities to shoulder the great historical mission in the new era.It also serves as the important support to implement the Party’s higher education policy,the core implication to fulfill the fundamental moral education task,and the essential stipulation to promote an all-round strict Party ruling practice.The chief connotations of university ideological and moral education are embodied in the strategic goal guidance,the benchmarking demonstration of scientific and efficient methods,the strong practice innovation,the initiative and benevolent behavior of the main body.Therefore,universities should strive to achieve their goals by maintaining firm political beliefs,enhancing operational efficiency,cultivating outstanding teams and shaping first-class culture.
