摘要
2019年的美国舞台创作异彩纷呈,在提供娱乐的同时不忘政治担当;一贯相对保守的百老汇,开始接纳布莱希特式的舞台表现手法;各大戏剧奖项继续多元化,甚至似乎出现了"逆向歧视"。本文希望通过对于2019年美国舞台创作的评述,呈现本年度最具影响力的戏剧作品,同时也期望能对中国戏剧的发展提供参考。
The American stage is thriving in 2019. It provides entertainment while emphasizing political courage. The relatively conservative Broadway has begun to accept Brechtian dramaturgy. Major drama prizes maintain the tendency towards pluralism even to the extent of "reverse discrimination". The overview of the American stage creation in 2019 intends to present the most influential plays of the year and to be helpful to the development of Chinese theatre.
