To implement Chinese President Xi Jinping's important instructions on combating the novel coronavirus disease(COVID-I9),the working committees on children and women,at all levels across the country,and their member organizations during the past several months have promulgated policies and measures to help women and children,especially disadvantaged women and children,in epidemic-afflicted areas,solve difficulties in their lives.On February 8,the Hubei headquarters for the control and treatment of COVID-19 issued a notice to urge medical institutions and women's federations,at all levels across Hubei Province,to adopt measures to help pregnant and lying-in women prevent and treat the disease.
