中医儿科疾病名称英译的探讨

Discussion on Translation of Pediatric Diseases in Traditional Chinese Medicine

选取《中医病症分类与代码》中56个儿科病名为研究对象,根据英汉词义关系将其分为完全对应、部分对应和不对应三大类,[1]以三部术语标准中中医儿科病名英译进行对比研究,通过分析其中翻译策略及方法,找出中医儿科病名英译存在的问题,以期为中医儿科病名术语标准化中医药国际交流尽一己之力。

The focus of this paper is the translation of 56 pediatric diseases name,which categorized as complete correspondence,partial equivalent and none-equivalence on the basis of English-Chinese semantic relationship.A contrastive study is performed in the translation of Traditional Chinese Medicine pediatric diseases in Classification and codes of diseases and ZHENG of Traditional Chinese Medicine,in order to analyze the translation strategies and method in it,and to find out the difficulties and problems in the translation process,with a humble hope to prompt the standardization of Traditional Chinese Medicine pediatric diseases name translation and the international communication of TCM.
