摘要
调查英国大学图书馆学与信息科学(LIS)硕士教育现状,挖掘其发展模式对中国大学LIS硕士教育的借鉴意义。通过网络调研和问卷调查的方式,对英国大学LIS硕士教育的组织结构、课程设置、教学方法、远程教育、学生就业前景等方面进行调查,收到来自开设LIS相关专业的18所英国大学共68份有效问卷,利用SPSS等方法对所获数据进行分析。英国大学LIS硕士教育注重信息技术的融入和实践能力的培养,善于运用多样化教学方法激活课堂,学生专业认同感和毕业后社会认可度较高。
The paper investigates the Master education status of library and information science at universities in UK,aiming at exploring their development modes which can provide reference for Chinese LIS Master education.Online survey and questionnaire survey were used to investigate the organization structure,curriculum setting,teaching methods,distance education,student employment prospects of the LIS Master education in UK.68 valid questionnaire responses from 18 universities were received and used to analyze the obtained data with SPSS.The LIS Master education in UK universities focuses on the integration of information technology and cultivates practical ability for students,and does well in using varieties of teaching methods to activate the classroom atmosphere,which achieves high professional identity and social recognition of the students.
