中国医药制造业外商直接投资与出口贸易活动关系研究

Relationship between FDI and export trade activities in China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry

目的实证分析中国医药制造业外商直接投资与出口贸易活动的关系。方法选取2000—2016年中国医药制造业相关数据为样本,利用Johansen协整检验、矢量误差修正(VEC)模型、脉冲响应函数和方差分解进行分析,以探求两者之间的关系。结果中国医药制造业外商直接投资与出口贸易活动之间存在双向的长期协整关系,三资企业投资额每增加1%,出口交货值增加0.45%;出口交货值每增加1%,三资企业投资额增加2.22%。短期内出口贸易活动对外商直接投资的影响并不显著,且有一定的滞后效应;而外商直接投资对出口贸易活动则为正向推动作用且影响较大。结论在中国医药制造业中,出口贸易活动与外商直接投资互为正向促进关系,但从长期来看出口贸易活动对吸引外资的影响远大于通过外资引入对出口贸易活动的影响。

Objective To analyze empirically the relationship between foreign direct investment(FDI)and export trade activities in China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.Methods We selected the relevant data of China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry from 2000 to 2016 as a sample,used the Johansen cointegration test,vector error correction(VEC)model,impulse response function and variance decomposition analysis to explore the relationship between the two.Results There is a long-term twoway co-integration relationship between FDI and export trade activities in Chinese pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.For every 1% increase in investment by foreign-funded enterprises,the value of export delivery increased by 0.45%.For each 1% increase in export delivery,the investment by foreign-funded enterprises increased by 2.22%.The influence of export trade activities on FDI was not significant in the short term,and there was a lag effect.However,FDI played a positive role in promoting export trade activities and the influence was great.Conclusion In China’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry,export trade activities and foreignfunded enterprises’investments promote each other,but,in the long run,the impact of export trade activities on attracting foreign investment is far greater than the impact of foreign investment on export trade activities.
