基于文类分析的学术英语教学探究——以上海交通大学非英语专业研究生英语教学改革为例

摘要 根据对上海交通大学非英语专业研究生的英语学习需求分析,研究生公共英语教学中心进行了以通用学术英语和文类分析为基础的英语课程改革。通过对每学期修课学生进行的两次调查问卷结果分析发现,此课程设置比较适合当前研究生在学术英语方面的需求,且教学效果显著。本研究表明该课程的教学理论依托、教学模式和评估方式均具有现实的可操作性,可供国内高校非英语专业研究生英语课程建设参考借鉴。 Based on the need analysis of the non-English major postgraduates on campus,a reform of the course of English for Academic Purposes(EAP) has been conducted by the Non-English Major Postgraduates Teaching Center in Shanghai Jiao Tong University.It is a course of English for general academic purposes(EGAP) based on the theories of genre analysis.The data of the questionnaires conducted twice per term among the in-class students show that this course has fairly met the current needs of the nonEnglish major postgraduates and the learning outcomes are significant.This study indicates that the teaching theories,teaching methods and learning assessment of this course are fully applicable,which could shed light on the course construction of EAP to nonEnglish major postgraduates in other domestic universities.
