Objective To study the nursing effect of continuous nursing in patients with enterostomy. Methods 56 patients with intestinal fistula from January 2015 to September 2019 were divided into two groups,18 in each group. The control group received routine care and the observation group received continuous care. The awareness of disease health knowledge, the incidence of complications, and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The awareness rate of disease health knowledge in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group. The difference between the groups was statistically significant(χ^2=13.526,8.781,46.856,31.237,P=0.000,0.001,0.000,0.000);the complication rate was 5.56%in the observation group and 22.22%in the control group. The difference between the groups was statistically significant(χ^2=9.894,P=0.003).The quality of life scores of the observation group were significant.Compared with the control group, the difference between the groups was statistically significant(t=2.783,2.905,3.063,2.819,3.060,P=0.007,0.005,0.003,0.007,0.003).Conclusion Continuing care is effective in the application of intestinal stoma patients. It not only can significantly improve the patient's mastery of disease health knowledge and reduce complications, but also contributes to a significant improvement in the quality of life of patients.
