新时代中国理论语言学工作者的使命

The Mission of Chinese Theoretical Linguistics Workers in the New Era

语言学在中国具有悠久的传统,中国语言学学者对世界语言学发展作出了重要贡献。在中国特色社会主义新时代,繁荣发展语言学,需要理论语言学先行。目前,中国理论语言学工作者要共同思考五个重要问题并处理好彼此关系:一是人文精神与科学精神;二是"西学东渐"与"东学西渐";三是范式与方法;四是对话与交锋;五是理论与实践。与此同时,中国理论语言学工作者要以担当精神,为繁荣理论语言学积极努力,做到四个争取:一要争取构建理论语言学协同创新联盟体;二要争取增列语言学为一级学科;三要争取打造中国语言学派;四要争取促进语言学成为一门领先科学。

Linguistics has a long tradition in China, and Chinese linguistic scholars have made important contributions to the development of linguistics in the world. In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the development of linguistics needs theoretical linguistics first. At present, the Chinese theoretical linguistic workers should consider together to properly cope with the relationships of the following five important issues:(1) the relationship between humanistic spirit and scientific spirit;(2) the relationship between "learning from the West" and "learning from the East";(3) the relationship between paradigms and approaches;(4) the relationship between dialogue and confrontation;and(5) the relationship between theory and practice. Meanwhile, in order to achieve the prosperity of theoretical linguistics, Chinese theoretical linguistics workers should also strive(1) to build a cooperative innovation alliance of theoretical linguistics,(2) to upgrade linguistics as a first-level discipline,(3) to build a Chinese theoretic school of linguistics, and( 4) to promote linguistics into a leading science.
