两周金文中的“勉”义词——兼论先秦汉语中的“勉”义词

A Probe into the Inscriptions on Ancient Bronze Objects Meaning " Diligent"in Zhou Dynasty--Discussing the Pre-Qin Chinese Words Meaning"Diligent"at the Same Time

表达"勉"义的词,两周金文中有"懋、薄、农、■、敏、肈、享、勤"八词,传世先秦文献中有"懋、农、敏、肈、劝、勉、明、勖、励、勤、劭、蘉、黾勉" 13个词。将两者加以比较,可以看出"勉"义场成员的历时替代变化,也可以在一定程度上厘清各词词义引申和消亡的情况。

Eight words express the meaning of"diligent"in inscriptions on ancient bronze objects in Zhou Dynasty which includes"Mao、Bo、Nong、Shao、Min、Zhao、Xiang、Qin".This kind of words could be found as"Mao、Nong、Min、Zhao、Quan、Mian、Ming、Xu、Li、Qin、Shao、Mang、Min(Mian)" thirteen words in Pre-Qin handed documents.These words are monosyllabic words.If we make comparison between the two groups,we could discover the diachronic evolution and replacement of each member in the semantic field of"diligent",and the comparison,to certain extent,can also help us to clarify the emergence,extension and demise of the meaning of each word.
